It's LOVE month, so let's celebrate all the love we experience. This can be self-love, love from others, or the love we witness around us each day.
Find out how to be the best lover by knowing what your love language says about you. First, identify your love language by taking one of the various quizzes available on the Internet or by reading our shortened version below. Then find out how to be a GREAT lover based on your language.
This love language shows love by speaking affirming words to other people. Do you feel most loved when someone says to you, "You did great, you look amazing today, or you're a fantastic human being"? If so, words of affirmation may be your love language. Use this strength by making other people's days by giving them small compliments that they may not have been looking for. Compliment the woman at Starbucks, the guy at the gym, etc.
This love language shows love by gifting people things. Do you feel most loved when someone gives you a present? If so, this is probably your love language. Show love to others by gifting small things to those you love. For example, give your favorite waitress some baked goods, give your employee something you know they need, or give your mom that book she's been wanting. (Try gifting BikiniBOD for the gift that keeps on giving).
This love language shows love by doing things for other people. Do you feel most loved when someone does something for you? If so, show love to others by paying for the person behind you in line, taking some weight off your best friend by accomplishing one of her errands for the day, or putting away bae's laundry.
This love language shows love by being in close proximity to others. Do you feel most loved when you get a hug, when someone holds your hand, or bae gives you a foot massage? If so, show love to others by massaging loved ones shoulders, giving hugs to those who want them, etc.
Comments will be approved before showing up.
