It's the middle of January and those New Years resolutions that you swore by now seem to be a distant memory. Here's 3 ways to detoxify and get back on track today!
Go cave-girl style and really clean up that diet. Stick to veggies and lean proteins while minimizing fruits, whole grains, and dairy. Cut out added sugars and alcohol for a few weeks while you're resetting your system. It's important to properly hydrate your body while detoxifying. And this doesn't just mean plain ol' water. Try warm water in the morning with lemon (and if you're feeling adventurous, add some ginger or cayenne to spice things up). Also, if you haven't jumped on the turmeric bandwagon yet, we highly recommend it. Try sipping on a turmeric latte with cardamon, cinnamon, almond milk, ginger and clove. It's great for immunity, inflammation and overall wellbeing!

Try exercises (both mental and physical) that are more relaxing while you are detoxing. For example, if you've never tried meditating- give it a go! Don't knock it until you've tried it. If you need more of a guided practice, try yoga! It's great for quieting the mind while moving your body!
