But are these trends really healthy for us? Here's how you can take full advantage of that trendy juice cleanse while not compromising your body.
How do you feel with the new routine you're implementing? Often times, we overlook our body's symptoms and end up feeling fatigued and compromised (not with BikiniBOD!). For example, if you sign up for a new, high intensity workout that doesn't feel good for your body, this probably isn't the best workout for you. Don't just blindly adopt trends if they don't work for you.
In terms of diet, we generally know what works and what doesn't. And if you don't- we urge you to become more in tune with your body. Whole, real, healthy foods work for the majority of people. Sometimes the lower calorie or carbohydrate option that is full of artificial chemicals and sweeteners won't properly digest in your body. This will result in bloating, digestion issues, and inappropriate nutrient digestion. If a trendy food makes you feel good, go for it! If not- pass the old school fruits and veggies.
